“Cheesy” Baked Tofu – Vegan

1 14-oz-package firm tofu
1⁄4 cup nutritional yeast
2 tablespoons of your favorite dried spices
Depending on what we’re serving it with, we have used paprika; or basil and oregano; or Trader Joe’s 21 Seasoning Salute. Experiment to find what suits your taste!
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Line a baking tray with parchment or use a silicone mat.
Rinse the tofu and press it in a towel or paper towel to remove excess water.
Cut the block into cubed sticks about ¾” to 1″ in size.
Mix the nutritional yeast and chosen spices in a bowl. Toss the sticks in the bowl with the nutritional yeast and spices until well-coated.
Place on the baking tray and bake for 30 minutes, gently flipping them after 15 minutes.
